Principal's message

On the occasion of the commencement of the new academic session, it is my pleasure to convey my best wishes to all of you.

SGN Khalsa College has a reputation for attracting the best students in their chosen faculties. It is a matter of great pride that the college has made consistent progress, year on year, in academic, sports and co-curricular activities. SGN Khalsa College is considered to be one of the most established and oldest educational institutes of the region, spread over 47+ acres of lush green area. This is a tribute to its standard of excellence in academics and commitment to quality education.

Challenges and Opportunities are two sides of the same coin. Modern education, curriculum development and teaching methodologies have to keep pace with the demand of the economic environment. Holistic education should include all round development of a student. At SGN Khalsa College a student gets a serene environment to grow in academic as well as other co- curricular spheres which are required for a complete development of the personality of an individual, to make him/her a valuable citizen of our country.

We all have to ensure that there is no stone left unturned to equip the student of today for the challenges of ife. This will require tremendous self-motivation on the part of all concened but will be fulfilling for the students as well as the faculty.

Our teaching faculty has always been a trend setter but what has also been noteworthy is the excellent support and commitment of the non-teaching staff as well. I wish to congratulate the entire faculty and other staff for encouraging and guiding the students in all facets, for their all round development.
